Project features

Mareb - Safer - Alabr Road is one of the main arteries and lifelines in the National Highway Network of the Republic of Yemen with a total length of 233 km. There are a lot of distresses and deteriorations found on the road due to high traffic density and overloading. which caused more severe damages to the surface of the road. Some sections have been deteriorated and became very hazardous to traffic flow. The study concentrates on rehabilitation and improvement of three sections in the road with an overall road length of 132 Km; Al-Makhtam Area to Goairban Area (40 Km), Ghoairban Area to Aldhoaibi Area (40Km) and Aldhoaibi Area to Al-Aber Area (52 Km)).
